Maidenhead
Maidenhead is a large market town in Berkshire, England, on the south-western bank of the
River Thames. With a population of about 73,000, well connected to London and Reading
with the mainline railway and M4 motorway. A prosperous historical town well located for
touring the natural beauty of the Chiltern Hills, as well as important cultural locations such as
Cliveden House, the village of Cookham to the north and Ascot Racecourse to the south.
